I have been tutoring students of all ages in mathematics and the physical sciences for the past few years. I was in the Masters of Education Program at Stony Brook to become a teacher after I earned my bachelors degree. Extenuating circumstances forced me to leave the program. I accrued 30+ graduate credits towards my Masters Degree. Teaching has always been my passion and I plan on going to back to school to finish my education degree to become a full-time teacher.

I enjoy reading and writing. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills. I have 3 younger siblings, and for as long as I can remember, I have been helping them with their homework or to study for an exam. After tutoring them, I realized how gratifying it is to help someone learn about a subject that isn't necessarily their favorite or naturally strongest suit.
