I am in the process of acquiring my master's degree in science from Molloy College, particularly in adolescent education. Prior to this endeavor, I received my master's degree in criminal justice from Long Island University. I am also a Marine Corps veteran. Because of my Marine Corps experience, I have a drive and desire to assist others. I have experience learning and teaching a variety of subjects. Reading, writing, research, psychology, and biology are just some of the subjects that I excel in and offer my tutoring services in. My teaching style is quite simplistic. I believe that a learning environment should be challenging. However, it should also have a focus. The focus should be on upping a student's self esteem and confidence, along with making sure the information being taught is retained. I also am a member of several different college honor societies. As an undergraduate and graduate, I had a GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0. When I am not working or studying for my master's degree, I can be found playing lacrosse or wrestling. I am very serious about living a healthy, fit, and active lifestyle. I have a love for sports, particularly the New York Yankees and the New York Rangers.
